News 7/14. Club meeting on Monday, July 14th, 7:00 pm. Young Scholars Academy off Alton Gloor Blvd (next to Rey del Taco). 7/9. River Rockets Pachanga coming Sunday, August 3rd! This will be a benefit fundraiser for the victims of the Playa Baghdad Tour in Matamoros, MX. 7/1. Save the Alton Gloor Trails! City Commission Meeting tonight at 6:00 pm for second reading and final approval of changing the Alton Gloor Bike Trails to retail space. If you want to advocate for the preservation of these trails, let your voice be heard during the public comment section on the agenda! 6/24. Bicycle World owner/River Rockets Vice-President, Terry Hall, was featured on KVEO Channel 23 promoting the upcoming Pachanga. Check it out here! 6/22. River Rockets Pachanga! One Brownsville rider was killed and several critically injured in a cycling event in Matamoros, Mexico on Sunday. Our hearts go out to the family of Alejandro Alvarez who was tragically killed.
